   Letter of Agreement

Effective: 14 NOV 2002

Amended: 08 JUNE 2016

1. PURPOSE:

This Letter of Agreement (LOA) outlines procedures to be used by Oakland Center (ZOA) and Seattle Center (ZSE).

2. CANCELLATION

All previous agreements are cancelled

3. PROCEDURES

1.General Procedures

  • General handoff procedures shall be in accordance with current VATSIM and VATUSA policies.
  • Minimum radar separation required by each facility is 5 nautical miles (NM), constant or increasing.
  • Aircraft not routed via BAARB shall enter ZOA at or below FL330
  • When sectorized, handoffs to ZOA are to OAK_C_CTR on 127.800.
  • When sectorized, handoffs to ZSE are to:

a. SEA_S_CTR on 126.10 (North/South configuration).

b. SEA_D_CTR on 135.15 (Four-sector configuration).
