Seattle Live Event 2019?

Is anyone interested in attending a live event in Seattle on August 16th through the 17th or 18th? We would host a FNO on the 16th and all control live together, possibly control the 17th, and visit the Museum of Flight and other local activities. Please keep in mind that all costs, including but no...

Re: Website Issues, Page Response Times

All valid points. We should be having a town hall meeting early next year, so I think it would be best to discuss it as an ARTCC there and see what the ARTCC as a whole believes. Thanks for bringing this up!

Re: Website Issues, Page Response Times

but then I'll constantly be requesting an LOA and then when I suddenly have time be requesting off of it. You don't need to request off of an LOA. If you find time to control during your LOA, then you can. It doesn't prevent you from controlling or take you off of LOA just because you sign on to co...

Re: Website Issues, Page Response Times

Hi Justin, welcome back! To respond to your comment about the activity periods, I understand how 3 hours every 30 days can be difficult. I do see how 60 days would be easier in your case, but in my opinion, it's less effective for the ARTCC as a whole. If you can't meet the activity requirements, th...

All, ZSE and HCF have entered an agreement allowing for Mutual Automatic Visiting Privileges! This means that any minor position you are rated here at ZSE, you are also allowed to control in HCF. If you wish to control PHNL or HNL_CTR, you will need to apply to be a visitor on the HCF website. More ...

ZSE Update and Survey!

Hi everyone, The ZSE Staff have been hard at work the past few weeks developing updates to our documentation. Re: FNO 10/19/18

Thanks to everyone who helped out last night. It was definitely a busy night! One thing that I think would have definitely helped, would be if we had more controllers sign up. Unfortunately, it seems that with each event we are just scraping by with the number of controllers we have because not enou...

Re: AMENDMENTS/UPDATES TO DOCUMENTS

While it could be argued for both categories, it fits well under the minor section as it's apart of our Minor portion of the S1 syllabus, introducing them to climb via the SID and teaching students how it works. By the time they become major ground certified, they know how to decipher if a SID is cl...

Re: AMENDMENTS/UPDATES TO DOCUMENTS

Also - TRAINING/MINOR CLEARANCE DELIVERY/GROUND Is the title wrong or the content in this Document? Content describes KSEA (MAJOR) Which documents are you referring to? Some have information applicable to KSEA and KPDX, like the Climb Via document, but I don't see any KSEA specific material in the ...
