Re: Unofficial Meet-up (Feb 15-17th KSLE)

Here is the link to RSVP which is required in advance. Preference during the official event(s) during the meetup will factor in the order of RSVP's: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1pzLzZr ... C7i7S-Q-Fg The sooner the better. It's also the only way you will get the special corporate rate I've arra...

Re: Unofficial Meet-up (Feb 15-17th KSLE)

That all sounds great, thanks again for making this happen. One thing that I think should get done ASAP is booking the timeslot within the VATUSA Event calendar system for the Sunday morning event. Another ARTCC took a spot later in the day, which is not a big deal but if another jumps on we might l...

Re: Unofficial Meet-up (Feb 15-17th KSLE)

So talked with Aaron and we will likely do an official event Sunday late morning until early afternoon before folks would need to leave. Friday night may be able to be an FNO (but only if a "trade") can happen with another ARTCC. If we are doing the FNO then my office will be available starting at ...

Re: Unofficial Meet-up (Feb 15-17th KSLE)

We could do an official event Friday night. More of a chillout Satruday night controlling (can it be a ZSE official event Sat?) then Sunday late morning we do the VATUSA official event before everyone has to pack up and leave. For Friday, unable on access until 6pm, as I have staff working there un...

Re: Unofficial Meet-up (Feb 15-17th KSLE)

Great to see this happening. If everyone wanted to host an official VATUSA event for this, it would only be possible Sunday morning (the 17th) as every other time slot has been taken for this weekend. If you'd rather have something else, consider consulting the VATUSA calendar: https://forums.vatus...

Re: Unofficial Meet-up (Feb 15-17th KSLE)

I can make it down for Saturday and maybe Sunday. I get done working in Seattle at 4pm on Friday, so I couldn't be there until 7 or 8 pm that night. What time frame are you thinking the Friday event will run? As far as Saturday is concerned, I should be able to make that without much of an issue. Th...

Re: Seattle Live Event 2019?

While this event is a bit out and sounds great. For those wondering about anything sooner, I have mentioned that like the events we had in the past at my residence and that of past/deceased member Tim Braly, I've already been looking to also host some regular live events in Salem/Keizer using the o...

Re: vSTARS' Tower View Function

I agree, it’s a great feature and really adds to the fidelity of the simulation. The new vSTARS beta also adds flight strips functionality, which combined with the tower view can simulate a non-radar operation quite well.

I think it’s a great idea man. In fact, that’s how it works with some of these TRACONs in real life. Chinook Approach controls (Located in Pasco) Pasco Yakima Walla Walla Pendleton Cascade Approach control (Located in Eugene) Eugene Medford The only changes to the real world ops that would help us i...

Flight Sim EXPO - Anyone attending with the VATUSA demo team?

Hey guys,

Im planning on going to the show in Las Vegas on June 9-10. I was just wondering whether anyone else is planning to be on the VATUSA demonstration team?

If you are planning to attend as a VATUSA demo team member, drop me an email. I've got a few ideas.
