I know – your curiosity got the better of you – but stay a while and read what I have to say.
“Sticky Notes”. Yes, those little notes you can design and place on your monitor. I have never used this feature of VRC until I started to study the CTR Training Materials and it give me a pause for thought. Maybe, I could use this feature. There are so many reasons to use them so I won’t go into them here. Suffice it to say that Sticky Notes can be very helpful. They can remind you of special requirements when controlling or, just in the background with information you may need in an emergency. Good also to know that they are transparent – you can see through them, so they do not obscure your scope.
Just a taster – copy and paste the following into your command line then hit ENTER.
.sticky KSEA SOUTH OPS| |KGEG RWY 21| |KPDX EAST OPS| |KMFR RWY 32
It also might be possible to spread your Stickies on numerous windows and monitors that you use?
