Before Requesting S2 Training:
Before requesting S2 training, make sure you have completed the VATUSA Computer Based Training (CBT). CBT found here: https://www.vatusa.net/cbt
Additionally, ensure you are aware of the following Air Traffic Control foundations:
- Select an Appropriate runway based on current winds and local procedures.
- Decoding a METAR
- Recording an ATIS
- Advising all Aircraft on the ground or within Tower Airspace of current ATIS and ATIS updates.
